Our client is originally a Spanish company and has been active in Poeldijk since June 2015. Every day, around 50 employees are packing various fruits and vegetables. Mangoes, Turmeric, Limes, Avocados, Ginger and many more varieties are checked for quality and prepared for transport. In order to be able to transport all products, a team is working hard to arrange everything logistically in tip-top shape.
As a quality controller, you ensure that the goods are correctly valued upon receipt of fruit and during the time they remain in stock.
You also ensure that the orders meet the requirements of the customer.
What do your tasks consist of:
- Receiving the fruit (containers/orders)
- Controlling the quality of the fruit in stock
- Monitoring of orders, compliance with customer requirements
- Prevention of non-conformities and customer complaints
- Ensuring the traceability system
- Supervising compliance with the existing quality and environmental management system

What we expect from you- You have knowledge of fruit quality standards
- You have a very good command of the English language
- Command of the Spanish language is a plus
- You are proactive
- You are good at organising and planning
- You have analytical and problem-solving abilities
- You have attention to details
