🌸 About the role
As an Orderpicker / Logistics Employee, you are responsible for carefully picking, sorting, and preparing flowers and plants for shipment to various supermarkets. The company operates year-round with no seasonal shutdowns, with peak periods during holidays and promotional weeks such as Christmas, Valentines Day, International Womens Day, and Easter.
Our team also works on public holidays. End times depend on order volume and staffing, so flexibility is essential. Naturally, you will receive flexibility in return, for example when you need a day off.
✨ Your tasks
- Picking and sorting flowers and plants using pick lists
- Preparing orders for shipment to supermarkets
- Transferring full crates onto carts for different customers
- Checking quality and ensuring neat presentation on carts
- Working accurately and efficiently to guarantee correct deliveries
- Collaborating with colleagues in an informal and friendly work environment
🕒 Working hours
- Scheduled for 45 days per week, up to 6 days during peak periods
- Workdays are not fixed and may vary
- Allowances: Saturday 150%, Sunday 200%
- Start time: Sunday to Friday from 8:00 PM until work is finished, at Saturday shift starts at 3:00 PM
- Average of approximately 35 hours per week
There is no night allowance applies due to the clients CAO
📋 What do you bring?- Relevant experience in logistics/order picking
- Accurate, flexible, and stress-resistant work attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Command of Dutch and/or English
- Own accommodation, preferably in the Bleiswijk or The Hague region
- Willingness to work flexible hours and handle peak workloads
- Salary of €14.71 per hour, excluding weekend allowances.
- Transportation from The Hague for €5 net per day (if possible)
- Daily driver bonus: €5 net per working day
- Attractive bonus starting from €7 net per day for taking colleagues in your private car
