For a leading importer and exporter of over 400 fresh products, part of an international group of companies. We are looking for a (jr.) account manager exotics.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate account manager within our Sales department.Together with your colleagues you will work with both our suppliers and customers. As part of the exotic team you will be responsible for selling our exotic products to current and new customers.

Your job responsibilities include:

• Selling of our exotic products to current and new customers (retail, wholesale, foodprocessing and foodservice).
• Monitoring the quality and stock of the Exotics product group and processing orders.
• Monitor the results of the product group and follow market and price developments.
• Ability to make decisions and take responsibility;
• You will report to the Commercial Director/Managing Director and work closely with colleagues of the commercial department, QA/QC, Production and Logistics.

What do we expect from you?
We are looking for candidates with a degree level qualification (bachelor / master), for instance business administration & agribusiness, food & business, HEAO.
Data management, reporting, analytical & numeracy skills are essential alongside problem solving andcritical thinking.
You should be efficient, accustomed to working in a fast paced environment and have a good eye for detail whilst also contributing to the departments administrative needs.
Working at this company means working in an international environment within a multicultural organization.
You need to have the capacity to adapt yourself to many different cultures and environments as well as being able to demonstrate good teamwork skills.
A high level of autonomy, tenacity and flexibility are also required in this position.

For this position it is mandatory to have an excellent command of Dutch or English, you should be willing to learn Dutch, other language skills (German) are an advantage. Strong computing skills including MS-Office are expected. Possession of driving license B is an advantage.
